PTE daily: Type the dictation exactly
Write from Dictation gives one point for each correct word. Spelling and order matter. Extra words are ignored.
The script stays hidden until you submit. Type the sentence you would have written from the recording. On this site the script is text, because there is no audio file.
Numbers and small words are the usual misses. “At the library” is not the same as “in the library”.
After the result, compare your line with the script and redo any word you spelled wrongly.
- Type the sentence without looking anything up.
- Check plural endings before you submit.
- Open the result and copy the missed words into your vocab list.
