Frequently asked questions

Short answers about practice, mocks, and scores.

Is this the official PTE exam?

No. Items are original. The result is a practice score, not a Pearson score.

Is practice free?

Yes. Question practice and the practice mocks are free after you create an account.

Why is there no audio on listening items?

These items store a script instead of a recording. The score uses that script.

Yes. After you submit, missed words are marked on the script and extra words are listed.
