PTE daily: Select only the words that differ
Highlight Incorrect Words gives a point for a real difference and takes a point away for a word you mark by mistake.
The question shows what was said and a transcript that changes a few words. Select the words in the transcript that are not in the spoken line.
Guessing extra words can wipe out correct selections because wrong selections subtract. If you are unsure, leave the word.
There is no audio file. Compare the two texts on the page.
- Read the “what was said” line once.
- Go through the transcript word by word.
- Submit only the words you can point to as different.
