PTE daily: Answer the short question with the word it asks for

Read the question and answer the thing it asks: a time, a place, a number, or an object. Adding a long introduction does not help.

The score uses the words heard in the recording. If the accepted answer is inside what you said, it can match. If the microphone captured nothing, the mark is zero.

Practise Easy items until the answer is immediate, then move to Medium.

• Do five short questions in a row.
• Say the answer as soon as you know it.
• If the result says the answer was not accepted, compare what was heard with the question.
