PTE daily: Give the essay four short parts
An essay on this site is checked for 200–300 words. Outside that range the form score is zero.
Use a position, two reasons with an example each, and a short closing sentence. That shape usually lands inside 200–300 words.
Content is not auto-graded. A text of the right length can still be a weak argument. The form check only tells you the length was accepted.
Do not memorise a paragraph and paste it onto every question. Change the reasons so they answer the prompt on the page.
- Write the position in one sentence before the body.
- Stop near 260 words and read the prompt again.
- Cut or add until the counter shows 200–300.
